I’m an evolutionary biologist and artist inspired by the interconnectedness of life on our planet. In my paintings, I try to capture the beauty, spontaneity, and joy of the natural world.
I’m originally from Manchester, Massachusetts, and now live in Atlanta, Georgia, where I’m completing my PhD at Emory University. My research examines how illness, social relationships, and early life adversity influence aging and longevity in wild chimpanzees, offering insights into the biological and social factors that shape health across the life course in both chimpanzees and humans.
